Today we were forced to put my beloved Mouser to sleep. He was 18 years old. A long time for a Pomeranian, but not long enough for me. We were fortunate to have his vet come to our home. She put him to sleep while I held his little body in my arms, on the living room floor. He was able to pass away in his home, a wish I think we all have for ourselves. He was surrounded by his humans, that loved him so much. I will miss him terribly. I now am at peace that his suffering is over, and that I will see him again.

One Day Anniversary!

Ok, We have been married a whole day! Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I know "How sick". We love each other more today than yesterday even! We spoke with our priest, and he is blaming it on the Holy Spirit! Imagine that!

Joking aside, I do feel that the holy spirit has blessed our marriage. I do feel closer to Matt everyday that we are together. He treats me better than I could ever hope for. I am looking forward to our life together. He is my best friend, my partner in crime.

We decided to take family over to the Union Station museum. We had a lot of fun checking out the trains. I was fortunate to have my Grandpa from Phoenix here to visit with us. I wanted to make sure he had a great time on his vacation.

My brother in-law also joined us. It was his first trip to Ogden also, and I think he had a lot of fun.

Well, Matt and I are finally going to tie the knot! I am actually excited. I thought I was going to die an old maid. I think that I have finally realized that Matt cant get rid of me, and that I cant get rid of him, no matter how hard we try. Just kidding. Matt and I met 17 years ago in a bowling alley. We have remained friends ever since. We started dating in 2000, and were engaged in 2004. We are best friends, and forever life partners. I couldn't have asked for a better man in my life. We compliment each other - Matt being laid back, and me being a go getter, Matt is the soft spoken one, and Me being the loud one. We are so different, yet so much the same. I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him. Hes such a Dork, but hes "MY" dork, and I love him!

For those who do not know, We have set a date! We will be married on April 24, 2009 at noon at the St. Josephs Catholic Church. We will have invitations sent out soon.

Huntsville

Huntsville, Utah. It was a beautiful day! The temp was 65 degrees, and the sun was warm.
We drove to the Catholic monastery, where the munks raise their own honey, jam, peanut butter, and sell rosary's, saint medallions, etc etc. Trevor wanted a cross made of black stone so I bought him one.
The priest said a prayer for us and blessed each individual item we purchased with holy water. The gentleman was as sweet as could be, there was a very long line of people wanting to pay for their items, its funny how everyone was so quiet, and patiently waiting for thier turn in line. We all seem to be on our best behavior when in the presence of someone holy. It was a very peaceful afternoon, as usual, I left the monastary with tears in my eyes, just feeling the holy spirit made all my troubles leave my soul for a brief time.
We continued our journey through Huntsville and ran into family of a patient I once took care of. We went back to their farm and talked for a long time, Trevor chased the sheep and chickens, and threw a stick for their Border Collie to fetch. Trevor placed his feet in a cold stream that was running through their property, and nibbled on an apple that was plucked from their tree.
I took several pictures that I have posted for everyone to see. We are looking forward to going back soon. Beautiful property, with beautiful people!
